About Us

Phi Alpha Theta is a "professional society whose mission is to promote the study of history through the encouragement of research, good teaching, publication and the exchange of learning and ideas among historians." Sigma Rho is the Phi Alpha Theta chapter organized at Texas A&M University in College Station, TX.

If you are interested in joining Phi Alpha Theta, please review the current application form to see if you qualify. Remember, you don't have to be a history major to join Phi Alpha Theta; our current president is a finance major!
